The president also has to be the Guardian of the Economy. In doing this the President looks over the whole United States into what jobs are being created and what businesses are now booming. The President can take monopolies and sue them to creat competition in the industry which will better serve all Americans.

The President of the United States also is the Chief of Diplomats. In doing this job correctly the President must do exactly what his/her title is and be a Chief. This means leading the Diplomats into making smart choices and advising them into doing what's smarter for all of America.

The President of the United States also has the role of being the main sponsor and endorser of the strategic planning effort. The President must bribe others to commit to the strategic planning effort otherwise it will not work if most of the people do not come on board with the President. Economy Assignment
Communism is an economy where they do not have classes such as lower class, middle class, and upper class. Also they are not divided into states as basically everybody is working towards the good of everybody. Socialism is sort of like communism as all of the businesses are owned by a corporation and can not be privately owned by an individual. Capitalism let's everybody work for themselves and allows anybody to start their own business whether they are alone or with a partner. Communism is good because everybody is the same basically but bad because nobody can make a living by themselves. Socialism is good as business owners will never be alone but bad because nobody can be their own boss. Capitalism is bad because people can go broke if they're not smart but it's good because everybody can be their own person and be what they want.

Chapter 22 Foreign Government
1. Pick two countries in Chapter 22 and provide an in depth paragraph on their government and how it operates.
The United Kingdom is a constitutional monarchy and parliamentary democracy, with a queen and a parliament that has two houses: the House of Lords, with 574 life peers, 92 hereditary peers, and 26 bishops; and the House of Commons, which has 651 popularly elected members. Supreme legislative power is vested in parliament, which sits for five years unless dissolved sooner. The government of Japan is a Democratic Parliment where the power of the Emporer is very limited.
The Prime Minister of Japan is the head of government. The Prime Minister is the head of the Cabinet and appoints and dismisses the Ministers of State, a majority of whom must be Diet members. Naoto Kao currently serves as the Prime Minister of Japan.2. What are some of the similarities of the countries that are in Chapter 22?Constitutions
One ruler but power to the people
House of Representives
3. What are some of the differences of the countries that are in Chapter 22?
Different number of people in the House and Cabinet
Very informal when talking to the Leader and other people in sessions
4. Which country in Chapter 22 do you believe has the strongest government and why?
Japan, because they have one specific ruler but the people still get to decide how the country is ruled to some extent. They have a lot of people for battle and to make money.
5. In what ways does the U.S. government relate to the methods of governments listed in Chapter 22?
Constitutions, One leader, House, and same basic knowledge

Great Britain
Two differences between the US and Britain are that Great Britain has a queen but they do not have a checks and balances system. Two similarities are that we both have more then one party and people have the vote in both countries.
Great Britain television viewers have started to see campaign ads for their upcoming elections. This is kind of interesting as we're not the only country that has television ads for voters. Also President Obama met with Britain's Prime Minister to discuss the war in Afghanistan. This is interesting because maybe something good will come out of the two countries joining together to debate the war.

Quiz January 6th
1. First somebody announces and makes the new bill, then it's given a number, then a committee votes on the bill and passes it on to a second committee who then gives it to the Senate to either pass or veto the bill.
2. A committee is a group of people who vote on bills and decide whether to make them laws or not.
3. I believe they're kind of making a bigger deal then they need to about the Houses and Senate and whatever else changing power from Democrats to Republicans. It's just a cycle that happens around every five years where one party has more power then the other. This I believe is inevitable and shouldn't be taken so harshly.
4. People in the House are going to take a different look at the U.S Constitution. People are saying that this meeting may take several hours as they are going to look at every part of the Constitution in a different way then they have before.
5.This is dumb in my opinion because people are now going to be in even bigger debt. I don't know if they're trying to raise the $14.3 trillion debt but if they are they're going to succeed. Interests rates on credit cards are huge, up to 30% or more.
6. Three of President Obama's closest "helpers" in the White House are now moving on. I wonder if they feel something bad is going to come in the near future so they're getting out as soon as they can.

Legislative Preview & How a bill becomes a law.
I didn't know much about the Legislative process and everything that happens when trying to pass a law so most of the things I read were new to me. I didn't know that the Governor single handily could stop a bill from becoming a law. Also I didn't realize that bills started in the House of Representatives, I just figured the Governor started all bills and tried making them into laws. The final big thing that I learned was how there's a committee that help clarify the bill and make it easier to read or more descriptive.
